Central Club for the German Shepherd Dogs Owners
of Ukraine (CCGSDOU)
received from the World Union of the Clubs for German Shepherd Dog
(Weltunion der Schuferhundvereine) the right to organize the
WUSV-2011 World Championship on October 6-9, 2011 in Boryspil (Kyiv)
at the "Kolos" stadium with the support of Ukrainian Kennel
Union headed by its President, Mr Georgiy Onischenko.
The report of CCGSDOU on preparation for
the WUSV-2011 World Championship
Ukraine at WUSV-2010 in Seville (Spain)
Ukraine was represented on the World Championship WUSV-2010 in Seville
(Spain) by the national stand, provided by the Spanish Kennel Club
headed by Mr Vincent Ferre, where everyone could get acquainted
with the symbols, culture and traditions of Ukraine, taste Ukrainian
national food and drinks as well as receive all possible information
about the Ukrainian cynology in general and organization of WUSV-2011
(information about the stadium, fields, hotels, weather and others)
in particular, and get prospects on WUSV-2011 and souvenirs (key-holders,
stickers, T-shirts and other) from the sponsors of WUSV-2011 - "ForDOGTRAINERS"
company and of course a well-known company "Royal Canine"
whose manager Mrs Oksana Slipchenko did all her best in helping
the organizers of the World Championship WUSV-2011.
In Seville during the World Championship-2010 Georgiy Onischenko,
UKU President, supported Ukrainian team, met the key-persons of
FCI and WUSV, pool of judges and on behalf of Ukraine was handed
the flag of WUSV, thanked Mr Henke, WUSV President, for this great
honor and good wishes of successful event, and insured that WUSV-2011
in Ukraine will be held on the highest level.
At the WUSV meeting Mrs Elena Schiraya, CCGSDOU administrator, informed
the representatives of the participant countries about the country,
fields for the championship, and demonstrated the equipment.
WUSV Commission in Ukraine The Commission which consisted of the following WUSV representatives
visited Kyiv on November 2-4, 2010:
- Mr Clement Lux (Germany), WUSV General Secretary,
- Mr G?nter Diegel (Germany), WUSV-2011 Chief Judge,
- Mr J?rgen Ritzi (Germany), Judge Section C (protection work),
- Mr Peter Mayerl (Austria), Responsible for the fields.
On the first day commission inspected the multifunctional center
"Magnat", where the drawing and meeting evening are supposed
to be held.
After that 8 assistants on defense demonstrated their mastership
in SchH/VPG/IPO-3 programs to the commission and the commission
chose 6 candidates who would be finally tested in the end of May
2011 and only 4 of them will be chosen. Their names and work will
be brought to public and presented on the web-site of the WUSV-2011
().
The quality of preparation to the WUSV-2011 satisfied the WUSV commission
and they commented on several aspects concerning parking, space
purpose, servicers and others.
The training field for the obedience section will be organized next
to the main field. In 1-kilometer distance from the "Kolos"
stadium the training for obedience and defense section will be equipped.
The meeting of the WUSV Commission with the representatives of the
UKU and CCGSDOU was held in the conference-hall of the "Kozatskiy
Stan" hotel in the result of which such program was agreed:

The registration of the participants ends on September
5, 2011.

Arrival of the participants to the site of the championship,
check in the hotels, previously booked, and registration for the
championship (present the documents for their dogs, including working
books).
While registering the teams should bring to the organizers the flags
and CDs with the national anthems of their countries.

Section A (Tracking)
The commission inspected the field (plough) and the plough with
the sprouted grass. The commission chose the plough with the sprouted
grass.
The track will be laid at 6.00, the work on the track will be held
on October 6-7-8, 2011.
The Sections B and C will be held during four days.
General Provisions of the Championship
The meeting evening will be held on October
8, 2011 in the "Magnat" complex, the time will
be appointed later.
The awarding ceremony will be held on October
9, 2011 at the "Kolos" stadium at 16.00.
The teams, the three participants of which will perform the qualification,
will be awarded.
The first three teams will be awarded on the podium.
In the individual contest the best 15 sportsmen will be awarded
(first three of them will be awarded on the podium).
The meeting of WUSV will be held in the conference hall of the "Kozatskiy
stan" at 9.00 on Ocotber 10, 2011.
The commission decided that the sportsmen who are the citizens of
the countries which they represent (which is confirmed by the passports)
are allowed to participate in the World Championship. The dogs are
allowed to participate in the championship if they have the qualification
in their country for the year 2011 with not less than 250 points.
The representatives of the teams which have the chipped dogs have
to bring the scanner with them.
The usage of electro-impulse devices and "par force" is
forbidden. The break of this rule is punished with the disqualification.
All the teams must pass the vet control.
The judging lists will be in English and German.
Two people can be present at the trainers meeting.
The full information about the field, coming in and out of the stadium,
judges introducing, roll call of the teams and other will be presented
at the meeting.
Five minutes of training are given to each dog.
The dog passes one discipline per day.
The participant of the championship 15 minutes before his (her)
start (the time is defined by the drawing) must register. The objects
on the track are put in a strictly defined order (leather, wood,
carpet). The samples will be sent to each participant country.
The configuration will be P-shaped.
The length of the leashes will be controlled (not more than 10 meters).
The guide should be wearing a tidy sports suit, the jackets are
not allowed.
Before the tracking the drawing in the group is made.
The commission decided that the football gates will be removed and
the dogs will start by the order from the center of the field.
The organizers of the World Championship WUSV-2011 will take
into account all the recommendations of the commission and will
do their best in preparing Ukraine for the WUSV-2011.
